Motorist caught ‘drink driving with no insurance’ in Glasgow



The motorist was pulled over by officers in Priesthill today after they were reportedly spotted driving without insurance. 

Following enquiries, it was revealed they allegedly had alcohol in their system.

A report has been made to the procurator fiscal.

On X, formerly Twitter, Police Scotland Greater Glasgow, said: “Pollok community officers stopped a vehicle today in Priesthill, being driven without insurance.

“Enquiries revealed the driver was also over the legal drink driving limit. A case has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

“Please stay safe on the roads, particularly in the current conditions.”
